Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Made in China by Sui Jianguo was sold in the Contemporary Edition auction at Christies in New York in July 2019. The price achieved of USD 1,000.00 (€ 898.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sui Jianguo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Shadow Of The Century (Set Of Ten) in October 2011 with an auction result of HKD 5,780,000.00 (€ 533,780.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Made in China von Sui Jianguo wurde im Juli 2019 in der Auktion Contemporary Edition bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.000,00 (€ 898,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sui Jianguo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Shadow Of The Century (Set Of Ten) im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.780.000,00 (€ 533.780,74).
