The work Legacy Mantle (Black and White) by Sui Jianguo was worth USD 21,250.00 (€ 18,134.49) to a buyer in September 2020. This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Asia at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sui Jianguo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Shadow Of The Century (Set Of Ten) in October 2011 with an auction result of HKD 5,780,000.00 (€ 533,780.74).

Die Arbeit Legacy Mantle (Black and White) von Sui Jianguo war einem Käufer im September 2020 USD 21.250,00 (€ 18.134,49) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia bei Christies in New York erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sui Jianguo erzielen.
