Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Made in China (Blue) by Sui Jianguo was sold in the Add to cARTModern & Contemporary Art Online auction at Bonhams in October 2021. The price achieved of HKD 25,500.00 (€ 2,836.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sui Jianguo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Shadow Of The Century (Set Of Ten) in October 2011 with an auction result of HKD 5,780,000.00 (€ 533,780.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Made in China (Blue) von Sui Jianguo wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Add to cARTModern & Contemporary Art Online bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.500,00 (€ 2.836,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sui Jianguo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Shadow Of The Century (Set Of Ten) im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.780.000,00 (€ 533.780,74).
