Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September last year Christies in Paris held the auction Un regard sur le monde : Collection Comte & Comtesse Jean-Jacques de Flers, which included the work Made in China (Yellow) by Sui Jianguo. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 6,930.00 16% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sui Jianguo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Shadow Of The Century (Set Of Ten) in October 2011 with an auction result of HKD 5,780,000.00 (€ 533,780.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September letzten Jahres führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Un regard sur le monde : Collection Comte & Comtesse Jean-Jacques de Flers durch, in der auch die Arbeit Made in China (Yellow) von Sui Jianguo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 6.930,00 und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sui Jianguo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Shadow Of The Century (Set Of Ten) im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.780.000,00 (€ 533.780,74).
