Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Made in China (Pink) by Sui Jianguo was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in January 2021. The price achieved of HKD 27,720.00 (€ 2,946.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sui Jianguo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Shadow Of The Century (Set Of Ten) in October 2011 with an auction result of HKD 5,780,000.00 (€ 533,780.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Made in China (Pink) von Sui Jianguo kam im Januar 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 27.720,00 (€ 2.946,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sui Jianguo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Shadow Of The Century (Set Of Ten) im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.780.000,00 (€ 533.780,74).
