Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year China Guardian held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Made in China (Yellow)(Executed in 2007) by Sui Jianguo. It changed hands for a price of HKD 36,000.00 (€ 4,613.25) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sui Jianguo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Shadow Of The Century (Set Of Ten) in October 2011 with an auction result of HKD 5,780,000.00 (€ 533,780.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte China Guardian die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Made in China (Yellow)(Executed in 2007) von Sui Jianguo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 36.000,00 (€ 4.613,25) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sui Jianguo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Shadow Of The Century (Set Of Ten) im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.780.000,00 (€ 533.780,74).
