The price achieved of USD 56,700.00 (€ 48,682.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sue Williams - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work New Yellow and Orange, which sold at auction in September this year for USD 127,000.00 (€ 119,992.44).
