Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 2,820.00 (€ 3,023.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Steven Pippin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Laundromat - Locomotion (Test Sequence), which sold at auction in November 2006 for USD 9,600.00 (€ 7,239.27).
