Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2009 a collector was able to acquire the work Laundromat - Locomotion (Test Sequence), 1997 by Steven Pippin for USD 5,625.00 (€ 3,924.78). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Steven Pippin have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2006 by the work Laundromat - Locomotion (Test Sequence) at USD 9,600.00 (€ 7,239.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2009 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Laundromat - Locomotion (Test Sequence), 1997 von Steven Pippin für USD 5.625,00 (€ 3.924,78) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Steven Pippin wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im November 2006 die Arbeit Laundromat - Locomotion (Test Sequence) mit USD 9.600,00 (€ 7.239,27).
