Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2007 Phillips in New York held the auction Saturday@Phillips, which included the work Black Beauty and Vicki by Stella Vine. The price achieved of USD 8,400.00 (€ 6,213.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stella Vine - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Superman, which sold at auction in October 2008 for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,933.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2007 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Saturday@Phillips durch, in der auch die Arbeit Black Beauty and Vicki von Stella Vine zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.400,00 (€ 6.213,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Stella Vine mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Superman beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.933,02) versteigert wurde.
