Despite a disappointment, a good price for Stella Vine
In October 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Superman by Stella Vine for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,933.02). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Part II at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Superman is the most expensive artwork by Stella Vine that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Stella Vine
Im Oktober 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Superman von Stella Vine für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.933,02) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Part II bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist Superman das teuerste Kunstwerk von Stella Vine, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
