Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2012 Phillips in London held the auction Under the Influence, which included the work Christine Keeler by Stella Vine. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,624.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stella Vine - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Superman, which sold at auction in October 2008 for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,933.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2012 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Under the Influence durch, in der auch die Arbeit Christine Keeler von Stella Vine zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.624,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Stella Vine mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Superman beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.933,02) versteigert wurde.
