Auction result misses estimated price range

In December 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work REVERSED MIRROR #1 by Stefan Brüggemann for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,510.67). This price was achieved in the auction Under the Influence at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stefan Brüggemann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mirror 26 in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 151,200.00 (€ 179,131.16).

Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

Im Dezember 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit REVERSED MIRROR #1 von Stefan Brüggemann für GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.510,67) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Under the Influence bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stefan Brüggemann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mirror 26 im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 151.200,00 (€ 179.131,16).
