Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Knock, Knock by Slater Bradley was auctioned at Phillips in New York in September 2011. It changed hands for a price of USD 3,750.00 (€ 2,788.31) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Slater Bradley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ladies and Gentlemen We are Floating in Space (02) in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 26,285.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Knock, Knock von Slater Bradley kam im September 2011 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 2.788,31) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Slater Bradley auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ladies and Gentlemen We are Floating in Space (02) im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 26.285,99).
