A top price for Sergei Volkov
In October 2008 Phillips in London held the auction Contemporary Art Part II, which included the work Paintings by Sergei Volkov. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 85,250.00 (€ 108,663.16), 71% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Paintings the most expensive artwork by Sergei Volkov that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2008 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paintings von Sergei Volkov zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 85.250,00 (€ 108.663,16) und damit 71% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Paintings zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Sergei Volkov, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
