Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Peace by Sergei Volkov was sold in the Russian Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in November 2013. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,042.08). Admittedly, works by Sergei Volkov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paintings in October 2008 with an auction result of GBP 85,250.00 (€ 108,663.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Peace von Sergei Volkov wurde im November 2013 in der Auktion Russian Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.042,08) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sergei Volkov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paintings im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 85.250,00 (€ 108.663,16).
