Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2011 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Mushroom Cloud #1010 Dominic Truckee by Satoshi Furui. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 93,750.00 (€ 8,968.72), 17% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Satoshi Furui have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mushroom Cloud #02, #04, #16 in May 2007 with an auction result of HKD 720,000.00 (€ 68,558.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2011 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mushroom Cloud #1010 Dominic Truckee von Satoshi Furui zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 93.750,00 (€ 8.968,72) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Satoshi Furui auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mushroom Cloud #02, #04, #16 im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 720.000,00 (€ 68.558,69).
