It achieved a price of HKD 96,000.00 (€ 9,642.64), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 48%. Admittedly, works by Satoshi Furui have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mushroom Cloud #02, #04, #16 in May 2007 with an auction result of HKD 720,000.00 (€ 68,558.69).

Die Arbeit Mushroom Cloud # 14 Upshot-Knothole von Satoshi Furui kam im Mai 2006 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 96.000,00 (€ 9.642,64) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 48%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Satoshi Furui auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mushroom Cloud #02, #04, #16 im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 720.000,00 (€ 68.558,69).
