Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2012 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Mushroom Cloud #1012 Dominic Swordfish; & Mushroom Cloud #1013 Buffalo Round 4 by Satoshi Furui. The price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 13,021.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Satoshi Furui have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mushroom Cloud #02, #04, #16 in May 2007 with an auction result of HKD 720,000.00 (€ 68,558.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2012 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mushroom Cloud #1012 Dominic Swordfish; & Mushroom Cloud #1013 Buffalo Round 4 von Satoshi Furui zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 13.021,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Satoshi Furui auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mushroom Cloud #02, #04, #16 im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 720.000,00 (€ 68.558,69).
