Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work Belle Grove by Sara Vanderbeek. The price achieved of USD 1,250.00 (€ 1,058.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Sara Vanderbeek have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Athena in March 2017 with an auction result of USD 4,750.00 (€ 4,440.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch die Arbeit Belle Grove von Sara Vanderbeek zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.250,00 (€ 1.058,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sara Vanderbeek auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Athena im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.750,00 (€ 4.440,08).
