Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Four Photographers (Six Works) by Sara Vanderbeek for USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,159.04). This price was achieved in the auction First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Sara Vanderbeek have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March 2017 by the work Athena at USD 4,750.00 (€ 4,440.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Four Photographers (Six Works) von Sara Vanderbeek für USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.159,04) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Sara Vanderbeek wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im März 2017 die Arbeit Athena mit USD 4.750,00 (€ 4.440,08).
