Auction result well in line with expectations
The work World #30 by Ruud van Empel was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October last year. The price achieved of USD 16,380.00 (€ 16,488.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ruud van Empel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Boy & Girl in May 2015 with an auction result of GBP 80,500.00 (€ 111,926.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit World #30 von Ruud van Empel kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 16.380,00 (€ 16.488,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ruud van Empel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Boy & Girl im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 80.500,00 (€ 111.926,78).
