Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Venus #2 by Ruud van Empel. The price achieved of USD 15,120.00 (€ 15,220.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ruud van Empel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Boy & Girl in May 2015 with an auction result of GBP 80,500.00 (€ 111,926.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Venus #2 von Ruud van Empel zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.120,00 (€ 15.220,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ruud van Empel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Boy & Girl im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 80.500,00 (€ 111.926,78).
