Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October this year Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Moon #7 by Ruud van Empel. Here, the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 7,620.00 (€ 7,210.45). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ruud van Empel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Boy & Girl in May 2015 with an auction result of GBP 80,500.00 (€ 111,926.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Moon #7 von Ruud van Empel zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 7.620,00 (€ 7.210,45) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ruud van Empel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Boy & Girl im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 80.500,00 (€ 111.926,78).
