three etchings with aquatint and colored paper pulp (Big Open Box also with drypoint), on Köller handmade paper, 1975, each signed and dated in pencil, numbered 21/32, 31/39 and 38/44 respectively (there were also ten or eleven artist's proofs each), published by Tyler Graphics, Ltd., Bedford, New York, with their blindstamp, the full sheets, the colors attenuated, the sheets slightly toned, framed

Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Intaglio Print Series: three plates by Ron Davis was sold in the Contemporary Edition auction at Christies in New York in February 2019. The price achieved of USD 1,250.00 (€ 1,098.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ron Davis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in July 2013 with an auction result of USD 81,250.00 (€ 61,173.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Intaglio Print Series: three plates von Ron Davis wurde im Februar 2019 in der Auktion Contemporary Edition bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.250,00 (€ 1.098,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ron Davis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juli 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 61.173,02).
