The work El balcón azul by Rodolfo Morales was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May last year. It achieved a price of USD 88,200.00 (€ 82,191.78), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rodolfo Morales - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Procession, which sold at auction in November 2019 for USD 275,000.00 (€ 249,568.93).

Die Arbeit El balcón azul von Rodolfo Morales kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 88.200,00 (€ 82.191,78) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Für andere Arbeiten von Rodolfo Morales mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Procession beobachtet, die im November 2019 für USD 275.000,00 (€ 249.568,93) versteigert wurde.
