In March last year Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work La tarde de ayer by Rodolfo Morales. The »bidding war« ended at USD 100,800.00 (€ 90,868.12), 68% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rodolfo Morales - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Procession, which sold at auction in November 2019 for USD 275,000.00 (€ 249,568.93).

Im März letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit La tarde de ayer von Rodolfo Morales zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 100.800,00 (€ 90.868,12) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Rodolfo Morales mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Procession beobachtet, die im November 2019 für USD 275.000,00 (€ 249.568,93) versteigert wurde.
