Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art Online, which included the work Untitled (La novia) by Rodolfo Morales. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 44,100.00 (€ 44,392.99) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Rodolfo Morales have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Procession in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 275,000.00 (€ 249,568.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (La novia) von Rodolfo Morales zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 44.100,00 (€ 44.392,99) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rodolfo Morales auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Procession im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 275.000,00 (€ 249.568,93).
