Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Starlight by Rockwell Kent was auctioned at Bonhams in January this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,825.00 (€ 3,522.75). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rockwell Kent achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gray Day in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 852,500.00 (€ 805,917.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Starlight von Rockwell Kent kam im Januar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.825,00 (€ 3.522,75) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rockwell Kent erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gray Day im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 852.500,00 (€ 805.917,94).
