It achieved a price of USD 151,200.00 (€ 136,956.52), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Admittedly, works by Rockwell Kent have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Gray Day in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 852,500.00 (€ 805,917.94).

Die Arbeit Asgaard, October von Rockwell Kent kam im April diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 151.200,00 (€ 136.956,52) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rockwell Kent auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Gray Day im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 852.500,00 (€ 805.917,94).
