This artwork by Jean Fautrier achieved an unexpectedly high price at VAN HAM in May 2019. In the Modern auction, the work Nature morte sold for EUR 44,625.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Fautrier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pièges (Traps) in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 4,522,500.00 (€ 5,312,772.50).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jean Fautrier erzielte im Mai 2019 bei VAN HAM einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern wurde die Arbeit Nature morte für EUR 44.625,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem Schätzpreis von EUR 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Fautrier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pièges (Traps) im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.522.500,00 (€ 5.312.772,50).
