Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Roberta Silva achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in May 2011. In the Contemporary Art Day auction, the work Soffio sold for USD 17,500.00 (€ 12,173.07) - well above the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Roberta Silva - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Basta Un Soffio, which sold at auction in May 2015 for USD 27,500.00 (€ 25,013.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Roberta Silva erzielte im Mai 2011 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day wurde die Arbeit Soffio für USD 17.500,00 (€ 12.173,07) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Roberta Silva mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Basta Un Soffio beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für USD 27.500,00 (€ 25.013,64) versteigert wurde.
