Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2011 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Soffio by Roberta Silva. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,679.82) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Roberta Silva - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Basta Un Soffio, which sold at auction in May 2015 for USD 27,500.00 (€ 25,013.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2011 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Soffio von Roberta Silva zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.679,82) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Roberta Silva mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Basta Un Soffio beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für USD 27.500,00 (€ 25.013,64) versteigert wurde.
