Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Christies in London held the auction First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online, which included the work A blow is enough by Roberta Silva. It changed hands for a price of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,668.54) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Roberta Silva - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Basta Un Soffio, which sold at auction in May 2015 for USD 27,500.00 (€ 25,013.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit A blow is enough von Roberta Silva zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.668,54) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Roberta Silva mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Basta Un Soffio beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für USD 27.500,00 (€ 25.013,64) versteigert wurde.
