Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Robert Graham was sold in the Editions & Works on Paper auction at Phillips in New York in April this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 508.00 (€ 460.14). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Graham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Frieze: Figures I-A, I-E, I-F, Ii-D, Iii-D in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 390,000.00 (€ 289,898.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Robert Graham wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 508,00 (€ 460,14) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Graham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Frieze: Figures I-A, I-E, I-F, Ii-D, Iii-D im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 390.000,00 (€ 289.898,16).
