Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Phillips in New York held the auction Editions & Works on Paper, which included the work MOCA Torso by Robert Graham. The price achieved of USD 1,905.00 (€ 1,802.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Graham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Frieze: Figures I-A, I-E, I-F, Ii-D, Iii-D in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 390,000.00 (€ 289,898.16).
