Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Anybody's Aunt by Richard Stankiewicz was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2014. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,164.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Stankiewicz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Playful Bathers in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 134,500.00 (€ 108,783.57).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.164,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden.
