Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Proclitic (P. 90) by R. H. Quaytman was sold in the Editions & Works on Paper auction at Phillips in New York in October this year. The price achieved of USD 953.00 (€ 901.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by R. H. Quaytman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Constructivismes, Chapter 13 in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 578,500.00 (€ 815,677.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Proclitic (P. 90) von R. H. Quaytman wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 953,00 (€ 901,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von R. H. Quaytman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Constructivismes, Chapter 13 im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 578.500,00 (€ 815.677,74).
