Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Beard, Chapter 19 by R. H. Quaytman was auctioned at Phillips in London in October last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 37,800.00 (€ 44,036.58) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by R. H. Quaytman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Constructivismes, Chapter 13 in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 578,500.00 (€ 815,677.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Beard, Chapter 19 von R. H. Quaytman kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 37.800,00 (€ 44.036,58) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von R. H. Quaytman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Constructivismes, Chapter 13 im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 578.500,00 (€ 815.677,74).
