In April 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work 'Portfolio Two' by Pirkle Jones. The »bidding war« ended at USD 11,875.00 (€ 10,379.34), 32% above the upper estimate. Other works by Pirkle Jones have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 19,200.00 (€ 14,055.64) in April 2007 for the work 'Portfolio Two'.

Im April 2016 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Portfolio Two' von Pirkle Jones zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 10.379,34) und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Pirkle Jones haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 19.200,00 (€ 14.055,64) im April 2007 für die Arbeit 'Portfolio Two' beobachtet.
