In November 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Omega by Peter Cain. The »bidding war« ended at USD 77,500.00 (€ 70,333.06), 29% above the upper estimate. With this result, Omega is even the most expensive work of art by Peter Cain that we have observed at auctions so far.
