In May 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Untitled 2 (Brush Painting) by Paul Sietsema. The »bidding war« ended at USD 40,000.00 (€ 36,383.48), 33% above the upper estimate. Other works by Paul Sietsema have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 43,750.00 (€ 36,770.89) in November 2017 for the work Note Drawing.
