Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Paul Sietsema was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction auction at Phillips in 17 - in July this year. The price achieved of USD 1,207.00 (€ 1,095.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Sietsema achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Note Drawing in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 43,750.00 (€ 36,770.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Paul Sietsema wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction bei Phillips in 17 - versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.207,00 (€ 1.095,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Sietsema erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Note Drawing im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 36.770,89).
