Auction result misses estimated price range
In July this year a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (from 16mm film still) by Paul Sietsema for USD 508.00 (€ 460.98). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction at Phillips in 17 - and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Sietsema achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Note Drawing in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 43,750.00 (€ 36,770.89).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (from 16mm film still) von Paul Sietsema für USD 508,00 (€ 460,98) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction bei Phillips in 17 - erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Sietsema erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Note Drawing im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 36.770,89).
