Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Untitled (No Way Out) by Paul Rusconi was worth USD 23,750.00 (€ 15,263.50) to a buyer in May 2008. This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Part II at Phillips in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Rusconi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Corey Duffel), which sold at auction in September 2011 for USD 71,500.00 (€ 53,163.80).

Die Arbeit Untitled (No Way Out) von Paul Rusconi war einem Käufer im Mai 2008 USD 23.750,00 (€ 15.263,50) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Part II bei Phillips in New York erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Rusconi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Corey Duffel) beobachtet, die im September 2011 für USD 71.500,00 (€ 53.163,80) versteigert wurde.
