Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Paul Rusconi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in November 2009. In the Contemporary Art Part II auction, the work Barack Obama sold for USD 20,000.00 (€ 13,338.67) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Rusconi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Corey Duffel), which sold at auction in September 2011 for USD 71,500.00 (€ 53,163.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Paul Rusconi erzielte im November 2009 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Part II wurde die Arbeit Barack Obama für USD 20.000,00 (€ 13.338,67) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Rusconi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Corey Duffel) beobachtet, die im September 2011 für USD 71.500,00 (€ 53.163,80) versteigert wurde.
