Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Rebecca by Nicholas Africano was sold in the Post War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in New York in September 2002. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 13,145.00 (€ 13,306.00). Other works by Nicholas Africano have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 27,600.00 (€ 20,129.82) in July 2007 for the work Woman with Fruit.
