The work Soundsuit by Nick Cave was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2016. It changed hands for a price of USD 87,500.00 (€ 82,718.85) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Other works by Nick Cave have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2021 the work Soundsuit was auctioned for USD 189,000.00 (€ 154,994.26).
