Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Nancy Spero achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in June last year. In the Editions Southampton auction, the work We are Pro Choice sold for USD 2,016.00 (€ 1,925.69) - well above the upper estimate of USD 900.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nancy Spero achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Love, Peace, Glory in July 2020 with an auction result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 50,959.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nancy Spero erzielte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Editions Southampton wurde die Arbeit We are Pro Choice für USD 2.016,00 (€ 1.925,69) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 900,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nancy Spero erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Love, Peace, Glory im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 50.959,74).
