Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Female Icarus) by Nancy Spero was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in August this year. The price achieved of USD 2,304.00 (€ 2,125.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nancy Spero achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Love, Peace, Glory in July 2020 with an auction result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 50,959.74).
